Vietnamese LEAP Scholars Receive Letters of Appreciation Published March 31, 2021 By AFCLC Outreach Team MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Ala. -- Vietnamese LEAP scholars Lt. Col. Thai Le and Master Sgt. Ngoc Hanh Le were recently presented with Letters of Appreciation from former Secretary of the Air Force Barbara Barrett. Late last year, the LEAP duo translated a letter from the SECAF to a fallen Airman’s family who only speaks Vietnamese, bringing comfort to his family in their darkest hour.
