Adjunct Instructor Introduction to Culture

Dr. Robin Goldstein, Ph.D., is an Adjunct Instructor for the AFCLC’s Introduction to Culture course. The recipient of the Women in Science Fellowship from The Field Museum of Chicago in 2005, her dissertation research focused on shifting patterns of local domestic economy and identity in the context of imperial colonization in pre-Hispanic Peru. She received her doctorate from Northwestern University in 2010, and has taught in both private university and community college settings in Chicago and South Carolina. Teaching and research interests include socio-cultural anthropology, the development of complex societies, and domestic economies within the context of expanding empires.
