The Thomas N. Barnes Center for Enlisted Education hosted the Royal Saudi Air Force’s top senior enlisted member Aug. 10, 2022, for continued discussions on enlisted professional education and development.

RSAF Chief Master Sgt. Mohammed Saud Alosaimi also attended the Air Force Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy graduation in support of one of his senior enlisted graduates.

The discussions with the SNCOA commandant and staff focused on the continued partnership and bilateral drive to provide professional military education and development for the Saudi enlisted force.

“Relationships matter. They are everything. The SNCOA’s unbreakable relationship with the RSAF has led to increased interactions, collaboration, and strategic insights,” said Chief Master Sgt. Daniel Hoglund, the SNCOA commandant.

The SNCOA is the only senior enlisted academy in the Department of Defense that sends Mobile Education Teams around the globe. A MET is heading to Taif Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in December 2022 to conduct enlisted leadership education courses for the RSAF.

“They have been incredible partners of ours. The commitment is very evident from the RSAF’s first graduate in 2004 to the 24 students who have since graduated from the academy,” Hoglund said. “Both our air forces’ commitment to senior enlisted development is aligned, which is to provide them with strategic understanding to ensure operational credibility and to be security-minded practitioners.”

Alosaimi also spent time with the Chief Master Sergeant Leadership Academy, getting immersed in enlisted strategic leadership education and the value it places on the Air Force’s enlisted force development.

“Our focus was to discuss future collaborations and opportunities to enhance the development of RSAF chief master sergeants and further the partnership,” said Chief Master Sgt. Steven Hart, CLA commandant.
