CASI Presents National Committee on U.S.-China Relations China Town Hall Published Oct. 23, 2018 By Jennifer Thurman National Defense University -- On October 9, 2018, CASI hosted Admiral (ret) Samuel Locklear to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the most important bilateral relationship of the 21st century--that of the U.S. relationship with China. Maj. Gen. Michael Rothstein, the Commander, Curtis E. LeMay Center for Doctrine Development and Education, and the Vice Commander of Air University, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama attended the two-part event. Former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice spoke via an interactive webcast discussion to audiences in 100+ locations across the United States. Highlights of the webcast included discussion on China's emergence as a global power and its role as a major trade partner.
