Lt. Gen. Hecker Interview

Before departing for his command assignment in Europe, then-Lt. Gen. James Hecker sat for an interview to talk about his nearly three years as commander and president of Air University at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. The U.S. Senate confirmed Hecker’s nomination to general and his assignment as commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe – Air Forces Africa and NATO Allied Air Command on June 23, 2022.
