Edwards Air Force Base kicks off National American Indian Heritage Month with opening ceremony

A group of attendees put on traditional ceremonial Native American dress during the National American Indian Heritage Month opening ceremony on Edwards AFB. From Nov. 1-30, the observance month recognizes American Indians for their respect for natural resources and the Earth, having served with valor in our nation's conflicts and for their many distinct and important contributions to the United States.
