As Information Warfare (IW) operations continually evolve and mature, the forces executing and coordinating those operations need to be effectively trained in the roles, assets, and capabilities involved in IW, and how various aspects operate together to achieve effects. Concurrently, learning technologies and "serious gaming" are being increasingly integrated into military training and education to enhance performance and provide adaptable, efficient training mediums.

Specifically within the Special Operations Enterprise, how can serious gaming be designed and implemented to effectively train Special Operations Forces (SOF) personnel in the nuances of information advantage?

Furthermore, how can existing SOF enterprise training and education programs be enhanced through the integration of these serious gaming elements? Ultimately, what are the key metrics for evaluating the effectiveness of serious gaming in improving information advantage skills and knowledge within USSOCOM and the broader military?
