Graduation Information

Graduation not only represents the successful completion of Squadron Officer School but enables those graduating to become better leaders and the future leaders of the Air Force.  Graduation takes place in Polifka and is attended by distinguished guests including Honorary Squadron Commanders as well as family, spouses and children.  Graduation is a time to acknowledge the contributions of groups, individuals, and flights for exceptional work throughout their course.

Congratulations to the Class of 20B and the flight commanders who were vital to the success of the class sharing their expertise and knowledge on each and every lesson!

20B graduated 695 students across 50 flights. Each flight was composed of thirteen to fourteen Air Force officers including active duty, guard and reservists, and Department of Defense civilians who worked together throughout the course. Although the class was here for six and a half weeks their impact is long lasting. Over this time the students learned leadership, joint warfare, and strategic design. They generously donated seventy-four pounds of food and volunteered thirty-eight hours to the Montgomery Food Bank.  In addition, this class volunteered their time to community services including the Salvation Army, Montgomery Bicycle Club, Montgomery Humane Society and New Heights for Youth.   They generously donated 158 units of blood to the Armed Services Blood Program and LifeSouth Community Blood Center.  Thank you Class of SOS 20B for your generosity, dedication, endurance, and impact on the local community.

Here is a look at the six and a half weeks of 20B:

Good luck to the Class of 20B and welcome to the students of 20C.
