Graduation Information

Graduation not only represents the successful completion of Squadron Officer School but enables those graduating to become better leaders and the future leaders of the Air Force.  Graduation takes place in Polifka and is attended by distinguished guests including Honorary Squadron Commanders as well as family, spouses and children.  Graduation is a time to acknowledge the contributions of groups, individuals, and flights for exceptional work throughout their course.

Congratulations to the Class of 20A and the flight commanders who were vital to the success of the class sharing their expertise and knowledge on each and every lesson!

20A graduated 6241 students across 45 flights. Each flight was composed of thirteen to fourteen Air Force officers including active duty, guard and reservists, International Officers, and Department of Defense civilians who worked together throughout the course. Although the class was here for six and a half weeks their impact is long lasting. Over this time the students learned leadership, reasoning, joint warfare, and team building. They generously donated over three thousand pounds of food to the Montgomery Food Bank.  In addition, this class volunteered their time to community services including Operation Christmas Child, the Salvation Army, a local correctional facility, and "That's My Child."  They generously donated 206 units of blood to the American Red Cross. Finally, the Class of 20A raised eight thousand dollars for the daughter of an International Officer from Uganda to have have a life-saving heart surgery.  Thank you Class of SOS 20A for your generosity, dedication, endurance, and impact on the local as well as international community.
