The Air Force Culture and Language Center (AFCLC) at Air University is gearing up to host its Fifth Annual Air University Language, Regional Expertise and Culture Symposium (AU LREC) 14-16 October with one change…the event will be VIRTUAL!

AFCLC is carefully monitoring and assessing the COVID-19 situation daily, along with Air University and base officials. The decision to convert to a virtual format was made with an eye toward the health and safety of participants and presenters.

“The symposium brings together scholars and practitioners from across the DoD and the LREC enterprise to explore issues and initiatives designed to equip and prepare our Airmen for success in diverse and uncertain situations,” said Gregory Day, AFCLC Director of Staff.

More information about the symposium, schedule of speakers and topics, and how to register will be released soon. Follow us on our social media channels for breaking news about the Fifth Annual AU LREC
