The Enlisted Professional Military Education Instructor Course (EPMEIC) has a new home on Maxwell AFB. The course strives to produce enlisted Airmen who can both teach and lead effectively in and out of the classroom. The curriculum is designed to heighten students’ appreciation for and understanding of classroom fundamentals, technical skills associated with EPME classrooms, and the typical day-to-day performance expected of professional enlisted educators. 

Program Description. This course is designed for personnel vectored to the 8T AFSC and teach Barnes Center Enlisted Professional Military Education curriculum. The course trains 8T personnel to educate the next generation of DAF enlisted leaders by leveraging formal instruction to perform a combination of guided discussions, experiential learning activities, and classroom facilitation. The curriculum is divided into the following areas: 8T Course Foundation, Education Foundation, Classroom Management, Instructional Methodology, Curriculum/Instructional Design, Assessment and Evaluation, and Performance Evaluation. Successful completion of the course earns three (3) CCAF semester hours.
