Altizer is a Warfighting Specialist in the Warfighting Education (WE) Division and Instructor for the Contingency Wartime Planning Course (CWPC), LeMay Center, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. WE delivered Professional Continuing Education to more than 32K students since its inception in 1987 and enabled warfighters to employ military capabilities in all domains across the range of operations. Mr. Altizer graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida in 1991 and was commissioned in the United States Air Force as a Supply officer and later cross-flowed into the Transportation career field. He served the majority of his nearly 30-year career as a Logistics Readiness Officer and commanded the Logistics Readiness Squadron at Incirlik AB, Turkey, the Joint Personal Property Shipping Office-San Antonio, and later the Personal Property Activity Headquarters at Joint-Base San Antonio. His final assignment on active duty was the Inspector General for the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma. Upon retirement from active duty, Mr. Altizer joined the federal civil service team in his current position.
