Maxwell AFB & Maxwell-Gunter Annex Gate Status
42nd Medical Group
Facility hours: Monday-Friday, 0700-1630. The facility is closed every 3rd Thursday each month for readiness training and AETC Family Days, except Active Duty sick-call from 0700-0800. The facility is closed for all federal holidays.
COVID Clinic Hours of Operation: 0730-1100, 1230-1530.
DUE TO COVID-19 OPERATIONS:
Single point of entry at the main entrance by the pharmacy.
COVID-19 health screening for all individuals entering the facility.
Installation requirement to wear a facemask in all facilities, including the Medical Group. Face masks with a valve are not authorized, per the Defense Health Agency (DHA).
COVID-19 Testing is available behind the facility at the ambulance bay during regular duty days from 0730-1100 and 1200-1530.
Patients with an emergency should seek care at the nearest Emergency Room or call 9-1-1.
Active duty members require a referral to be seen at an Urgent Care.
CONSIDERATIONS FOR WHO SHOULD GET TESTED FOR COVID-19:
People who have symptoms of COVID-19
People who have had close contact (within 6 feet of an infected person for at least 15 minutes) with someone with confirmed COVID-19

Pharmacy Hours: (Bldg 760): 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Drop off/pick up new prescriptions)
Pharmacy Refill Center (Bldg 760): Monday - Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Pick up refills only)
Gunter Annex Refill Pharmacy (Bldg 833): Temporarily closed. Refills called into Gunter Annex will be at the Maxwell AFB
Pharmacy Information: Refills can be requested via TRICARE online. Click the “Rx Refill” on the TOL home page or top navigation bar to access TOL Rx Refill.
Please call us at (334) 953-6868 and leave a message, or email us with the TRICARE Patient Portal Secure Messaging system at https://app.tolsecuremessaging.com to activate any new prescriptions. All prescriptions must be activated prior to be being processed.
Drug Take Back Options
If you need to dispose of any drugs or controlled substances, you can: Drop them in our secure receptacle located at (Bldg 760)
COVID Operations: Currently treating Urgent/Emergent needs, Class III/Non-deployable concerns, and Dental Class IV/Annual/Deployment exams. Due to COVID-19, no cleanings are currently being offered.
To schedule a Dental Exam please call the front desk at (334) 953-7822 during normal business hours.
Dental Sick Call: Patients must arrive between 0700-0730 Mon-Fri
After hours and weekend emergencies/concerns please call the Dentist on Duty at (334) 530-9037. Only urgent/emergent needs will be addressed, please do not call about orders, exams, or paperwork.
