Base announces 2nd quarter award winners

MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Ala. -- The Maxwell-Gunter Outstanding Airmen for the second quarter were recognized Aug. 21 at the Electronic Systems Group auditorium at Gunter.

The Junior Enlisted Member was Airman 1st Class Feanja Smith of 42nd Air Base Wing. The Noncommissioned Officer was Tech. Sgt. Jonathan Mathe of the Spaatz Center, and the Senior Noncommissioned Officer was Senior Master Sgt. Rhonda Ball of the Barnes Center.

The Company Grade Officer was Capt. Michael Biggs of the 754th Electronic Systems Group.

For Civilian, Category I went to Lakechia Starks, GS-5 and Category II was Jeremy Abbott, GS-9, both from 42nd ABW. Category III was John Ackerman, AD-22, of the 754th ELSG.

The Honor Guard member was Airman 1st Class of Charlie Flight. The Military Volunteer was Tech. Sgt. Vincent Beck of the Barnes Center and the Civilian Volunteer was Leigh Pfitzner, YA-2, of the 42nd ABW.
