ASW(SO/LIC) and SOCOM SEL visit Hurlburt Field for AFSOC Immersion

HURLBURT FIELD, Fla. -- Air Force Special Operations Command welcomed Derrick Anderson, Assistant Secretary of War for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict, and U.S. Army Command Sgt. Maj. Andrew J. “AJ” Krogman, U.S. Special Operations Command senior enlisted leader. 
 
During the visit, Anderson and Krogman gained insight into the AFSOC mission set as the special operations component to the U.S. Air Force and the air component to USSCOM.  

The special operations leaders received mission capabilities demonstrations, toured facilities, and interacted with Air Commandos from various specialties. The immersion capped off with a familiarization flight on the AC-130J Ghostrider.
