Gingrich
While at Maxwell March 8, the Honorable Newt Gingrich participated in a panel discussion with Air University and Air Force Institute of Technology students and faculty. Research topics presented included cyber, nuclear deterrence and advanced statistical techniques to examine patterns of armed conflict. The event was used to showcase the intellectual capability and talent at AU and AFIT and to generate a discussion to spur thinking about national security objectives. Presenting were Col. William Young and Maj. Sam Kidd (AU-cyber), Army Maj. Nicholas Shallcross (AFIT-statistical techniques) and Dr. David Palkki and Maj. Allen Cohen (AU-deterrence).
