Thunderbolts pursue F-16 seat raise initiative
Seat raise pins sit on display during a demonstration of their capabilities in raising the ejection seat into the maintenance position on F-16 Fighting Falcons at Luke Air Force Base, Ariz., Dec. 8, 2017. The seat raise pin method will give technicians approximately eight inches of additional clearance to perform maintenance procedures eliminating the need to fully remove the seat and canopy saving many man hours.
