Ike, Truman Conduct Dual Carrier and Joint Air Wing Operations in the Arabian Sea
200318-N-QD512-1310 ARABIAN SEA (March 18, 2020) The aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) conducts a combined air wing operation with a B-52 Bomber from U.S. Air Forces Central Command in the Arabian Sea, March 18, 2020. Ike is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations in support of naval operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean and Pacific through the Western Indian Ocean and three strategic choke points.
