ROK Visits JTF-CS
Members of Joint Task Force-Civil Support, the United States’ only standing chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear task force, met with a delegation from the Republic of Korea’s Consequence Management Unit on Ft. Eustis, Virginia, on Sept. 3, 2025. The ROK Ministry of Defense formally requested U.S. Department of Defense assistance in developing their CBRN CMU and sought out JTF-CS as their primary partner to enhance each other’s response capabilities through subject matter expertise, coordination, planning support and structured engagement.
