U.S.-Japan Live-Fire Exercise

Air Force airmen secure a High Mobility Artillery Rocket System aboard a C-130J Super Hercules assigned to the 36th Airlift Squadron during a HIMARS rapid insertion training at Kadena Air Base, Japan, Sept. 19, 2025. This marked the first time that an Air Mobility Command aircrew within Pacific Air Forces has executed a HIMARS direct reload inside a plane.
