U.S.-Japan Live-Fire Exercise
Air Force Airman 1st Class Andrew Giorgio, 36th Airlift Squadron loadmaster, guides a Marine Corps High Mobility Artillery Rocket System out of the cargo bay of a C-130J Super Hercules assigned to the 36th AS during a HIMARS rapid insertion training at Kenebetsu Air Base, Japan, Sept. 19, 2025. Airmen assigned to the 36th AS conducted the training as part of a joint operational support mission with Marines, enabling a bilateral live-fire exercise between the Marine Corps and the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force.
