Enlisted Heritage Hall Marks 40 Years of Chronicling Air Force Legacy
Chief Master Sgt. Roy C. McGinnis was a 41-year veteran and WWII prisoner of war, who also served in the Korean and Vietnam War. His display can be seen in the Alabama Room of the Enlisted Heritage Hall on Maxwell Air Force Base – Gunter Annex. His wife Hilde McGinnis and daughter Angie Jolly were at the Heritage Hall, May 1, 2026, to celebrate its 40th anniversary. Chief McGinnis died in 2021. (U.S. Air Force photo by Brian Ferguson)
