M977 Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Trucks convoy at the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, Calif., Aug. 11, 2023. Under a new program, service members who drive large combat vehicles like the M977 will be able to more easily obtain a commercial driver's license.
