Dr. Mary Bartlett Published Feb. 15, 2023 Official Photo Photo Details / Download Hi-Res Dr. Mary Bartlett Ira C. Eaker Center for Leadership Development Faculty Senator 2022 - 2023 Dr. Bartlett serves as an Associate Professor for Air War College at the Leadership and Innovation Institute (LII), Maxwell AFB, Alabama. She has a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from Auburn University, and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from the University of Maryland—College Park. Her principal areas of research are suicide and resilience, and she is an international speaker and published author in those areas. With 25 years of teaching and clinical experience, she was invited to leverage her knowledge in social sciences across all Air Force Professional Military Education. As a subject matter expert, Dr. Bartlett works closely with DAF and has contributed to developing policy, strategy, and standard operating procedures while lecturing across all organizational levels of the Air and Space Forces and Air University (AU). Prior to joining AU in 2015, Dr. Bartlett served for 10 years as a mental health consultant and trainer for leadership across the Department of Defense and proudly served as a military spouse for 20 years. She looks forward to representing military and civilian faculty, advising college and AU leadership, and advocating for enhanced quality of life and professional opportunities for all faculty at the Ira C. Eaker Center for Leadership Development.
