Description: Instructs select U.S. and International field grade officers and DoD civilians in the operational art of applying contemporary air, space, and cyber power in support of U.S. national objectives. Advisor to students conducting graduate level research/analysis on the theory and application of emerging operational air and space power concepts, defense policy, military organization, command and leadership, and joint operations. Departments for Instructors/Advisors include the following: Leadership, Joint-Warfighting, Airpower, International Security, Research, and Multi-Domain Operations and Strategy (MDOS).
Eligibility: Mid-level to senior Majors [USAF/USSF] or Lieutenant Colonels [USAF/USSF] with an outstanding military record of performance, Master’s degree or PhD, excellent communication skills, and residence JMPME and/or graduated Sq/CC. By exception, ACSC will lieutenant colonels with extensive prior 81T0 Instructor/Advisor experience who do not meet the previously stated eligibility requirements. Must meet AF Fitness standards and present a professional image.
Clearance: Secret clearance is mandatory, Top Secret desired. NOTE: A Top Secret Security Clearance is Mandatory to be considered as an MDOS Instructor/Advisor.
