MAXWELL AIR FORCE BASE, Ala. -- Air University Press announces the release of the summer 2018 edition of Air and Space Power Journal–Spanish.
In this issue, writers focus on the challenges that threaten the Western Hemisphere and the efforts of the System of Cooperation among the American Air Forces to counteract them through its new operational approach, as adopted by the Conference of Chiefs of American Air Forces.
In carrying out the resolutions of the XLVI CONJEFAMER (2006), the SICOFAA has served as a link between the air forces of member countries that executed combined air operations in recent disasters. The operations provided assistance during the 2016 earthquake in Ecuador and the 2017 fires in Chile, floods in Peru, earthquake in Mexico, and hurricanes in the Caribbean.
ASPJ Spanish seeks to stimulate professional dialogue on air and space power among the members of the armed forces—as well as historians, academia, and the general public—in the hemisphere toward the goal of establishing greater understanding and cooperation among institutions.
