U.S. Army Reserve Maj. Karean Troy, the patient administration officer with Federal Coordinating Center Columbia, tracks the status of evacuated patients from Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands Oct. 2 at the Columbia Metropolitan Airport in Columbia, South Carolins, as part of the team's relief efforts in the wake of Hurricane Maria. Troy is an elementary school counselor in her civilian career, and finds satisfaction in aiding others through her military and civilian occupations.
