UK Brig. Gen. Turner, Special Operations Joint Task Force Deputy Commander, orients U.S. soldiers in the 4th Battalion, 118th Infantry Regiment, 30th Armored Brigade Combat Team, North Carolina Army National Guard, to the mission environment in eastern Syria Oct. 31, 2019. The mechanized infantry troops will provide M2A2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle support and partner with Syrian Democratic Forces to deny Daesh access to critical infrastructure in eastern Syria.
