How can the Joint Force and AFGSC design and execute dedicated wargames focused exclusively on Conventional-Nuclear Integration (CNI) to generate actionable programmatic, modernization, and mission-planning data rather than simple strategic excursions? Specifically, how can wargaming be leveraged to identify operational seams, C2/NC3 vulnerabilities, and resource stressors—including Mobile Support Team (MST) limitations and access to key enabling forces like tankers, ISR, and airlift—when executing near-simultaneous conventional and nuclear operations in a stressed nuclear-effects environment? Ultimately, how can the lessons learned from these simulations be translated to address critical gaps in existing doctrine, tactics, and force-generation concepts to ensure the Joint Force can survive, reconstitute, and continue conventional combat operations?
