Eaker Center for Leadership Development Faculty Senator 2022-2023 Ch Tara Dixon serves as a Staff Chaplain at the Air Force Chaplain Corps College located at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. In this capacity, Chaplain Dixon is responsible for assisting the Deputy Commandant in the design, development, and execution of curriculum and courses in the college. She manages and administers educational courses benefiting the Chaplain Corps. She has a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Public Policy/Social Change with a concentration in educational policy processes from Union Institute & University—Cincinnati, a Master of Divinity in Theology and Philosophy from Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) Turner Theological School—Atlanta, and a certification in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion from the University of South Florida—Tampa. Her research crosses the disciplines of theology, policy, and DEIA and she is a published author in those areas.
