Participants will undergo intensive academic instruction, learn a range of practical skills, develop professional relationships throughout the government and private sector, create and test a prototype as part of a small team, and brief the CSAF about lessons learned at the end of the academic year. Fellows will receive a Master’s degree, but not JPME II. TS//SCI required. Blue Horizons typically selects roughly five SDE Fellows each year from volunteers based on the requirements of the CSAT-directed research topic.
