Agile ACSC: A blended PME modality
Agile Air Command and Staff College (Agile ACSC) is a cohort-based, blended learning modality that enables eligible officers and civilians to complete Intermediate Developmental Education (IDE) and Joint Professional Military Education Phase I (JPME I) in approximately 4.5 months with deliberate start and end dates.
Students will experience an enriched learning environment, peer networking, and the opportunity to grow skills they and their commanders can use immediately through the application of leadership, airpower, national security, and joint planning concepts in a practical, mission-relevant setting.
This distance learning option is designed for non-resident students who want a structured, high-impact PME experience. Agile ACSC integrates instructor-facilitated, interdisciplinary online courses with a two-week, in-person Capstone.
Agile ACSC awards full IDE and JPME I credit upon completion. Additionally, students who complete Agile ACSC are eligible to apply, through their commander, for an Air Operations Planner Special Experience Identifier (SEI) per Department of the Air Force’s Officer Classification Directory (AFOCD), dated 30 Apr 25.
