Lt Col Ben "Tide" Barsness is the Director of Operations at the Air Force Global College. He holds a B.S. in Aviation Management from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and an MBA from Texas A&M University, Commerce. Lt Col Barsness is a Senior RPA Pilot with over 3,000 flight hours, including 472 combat hours and 1,706 combat support hours. Previously, he served as a B-1B WSO and has deployed on the B-1 and RPA platforms in support of operations ENDURING FREEDOM, NEW DAWN, COPPER DUNE, and INHERENT RESOLVE. Additionally, he has flown remotely piloted aircraft in support of operations ENDURING FREEDOM, JUKEBOX LOTUS, JUNIPER MICRON, and INHERENT RESOLVE. Prior to his current assignment, Lt Col Barsness served at Nellis/Creech AFB, NV, as a Director of Operations, Commander, and Wing Chief of Safety. 

Lt Col Manh Pham oversees the Air Force Global College’s internet-based execution; academic affairs, test and evaluation, students services, & technical support operations for over 19K active students through distance learning. He manages Global College student information system requirements, operations priorities, execution progresses, programs deliverables, coordination with internal/external agencies, and student's educational systems.
