Learning from the Best: Dispersed Basing Operations of the Finnish and Swedish Air Forces

In this paper, the author discusses the history of the Finnish and Swedish air forces and how they defended themselves at the onset of the Cold War. Using their methods, the author makes the case how the USAF today can use the same tactics, combined with Agile Combat Employment concepts, to enhance modern operations.
