Community College of the Air Force Transcripts Published Sept. 22, 2023 Community College of the Air Force, Air University, Maxwell AFB, Gunter Annex, AL Due to unforeseen challenges with Air University’s migration to a modernized student information system, CCAF transcripts may still be ordered, but might not reflect any credits earned after mid-August 2022. As of 22 September 2023, CCAF has processed incoming transcripts received through 6 July 2023. As of 22 September 2023, CCAF has processed outbound transcript requests received through 11 September 2023. Ordering Options CCAF provides several options for ordering your official transcript as detailed below. Option 1: Electronic, First Class Mail and Overnight Order through Parchment NOTE: Please do NOT send any money to CCAF! Order from Parchment This third party company handles our online ordering. You can order through their site at any time and can select from three delivery options. Electronic transcripts are $3.10; First Class mail option is $5.60; and FedEx option is $33.10. IMPORTANT NOTE: These fees are not covered by the Air and Space Force. Once your order is approved through Parchment, it is transmitted to CCAF electronically. Our staff verifies the request and uploads a copy of your official AU or CCAF transcript to Parchment's secure site. Parchment then completes the final process of delivering your transcript according to your order. If you are experiencing issues after your order is approved through Parchment, please contact Parchment directly at: https://www.parchment.com/chat-support. If you need to include an attachment with your transcript (Nursing, CAS, SOPHAS, CASPA, AMCAS, LSAC, etc.), ensure the attachment is uploaded in Parchment before submitting your order. Option 2: Free Written Request to CCAF Written requests are processed in the order they are received. CCAF has transitioned to a modernized student information system (SIS) and requests may be delayed. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please use the CCAF Transcript Ordering Form (link below); ensure you fill out all of the fields and sign with your physical signature. Digital signatures are not sufficient, nor do we accept requests via email. Incomplete or illegible requests will not be processed. Mail in Transcript Request Form Option 3: Electronic through AU Service Desk Proceed to the AU Service Desk, create an account, and select Sending a CCAF Transcript to Myself or Institution, as your Student Inquiry. If you need additional assistance, please select Click Here for information on how to send a transcript to yourself or an institution. CCAF will respond through the AU Service Desk. Sending a civilian transcript to CCAF CCAF only accepts official transcripts sent directly from schools to CCAF. CCAF will not accept faxed, unofficial, or transcripts marked “Issued to Student”. Additionally, transcripts are NOT accepted from students, counselors, recruiters, or any other third party. Avoid sending multiple transcripts to CCAF by sending only once upon completion of all desired transfer credits. Additionally, multiple submissions of the same transcript will delay processing as any later transcript will “bump” previously-submitted transcripts from your place in our queue. Electronic transcripts are preferred, and most vendors provide students with delivery receipt at CCAF. Visit your school’s website and follow their instructions to send directly to CCAF. Select Community College of the Air Force or ccaf.etranscript@us.af.mil as the recipient. CCAF accepts from these vendors: Joint Service Transcript Parchment National Student Clearinghouse CCAF discourages but accepts paper transcripts directly from schools. This option is slower, tracking is not available, and CCAF has limited ability to search for lost paper transcripts. Paper transcripts should be mailed by the schools to the following address: CCAF/DRCR 100 South Turner Boulevard Maxwell AFB, Gunter-Annex, AL 36114-3011 Sending CLEP/DSST test results to CCAF Scores for all DANTES-funded CLEP and DSST exams taken by U.S. Air Force members are automatically reported to CCAF. If your CLEP or DSST was self-funded (retests) you will need to request an official transcript by designating CCAF as a recipient when you test or following the instructions at https://www.dantes.mil/transcripts/. International Schools CCAF may accept international courses if applicable to your degree program. For transfer consideration, submit a course-by-course evaluation from a transcript evaluation service that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). Follow the instructions on the NACES-member website to have your official transcript translated (if not in English), evaluated, and forwarded to CCAF. Note to Investigators: All investigation requests can be processed in person, by fax, DOD Safe or through National Clearinghouse. (Fax is temporarily down). DoD Safe requests can be sent to: CCAF.SAFER.verfication@us.af.mil Questions regarding the above procedures can be directed to CCAF Student Services at (334) 649-5066 or DSN 749-5066.
