Flight Operations
A CV-22 Osprey crew conducts recent flight operations training above Hurlburt Field's Santa Rosa Sound, Florida. Responsibly increasing the number of CV-22s assigned to Hurlburt Field was one of the environmental challenges that Frederick Javier successfully navigated in an update of the installation development plan. Javier, 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron, Hurlburt Field, won the 2018 Secretary of Defense Environmental Award for Environmental Quality, Individual/Team. DoD photo.
