Air University provides opportunities for students to interact with key contributors to the U.S. Air Force mission. One such opportunity, available during the university's intermediate officer development track, Air Command and Staff College, includes the Gathering of Eagles elective course. During this class, students travel to meet with selected individuals and learn from their experiences, publishing their findings at the end of the academic year. Eagles typically travel to campus for speaking and further involvement with students and faculty. This volume focuses on a student who met with "Snake" Clark, who played a role in the Air Force acquisition of the MQ-1 Predator and has seen it through many developments, including arming it with munitions, evolving its mission set from ISR to persistent attack.
