Adjunct Instructor Introduction to Cross-Cultural Communication

Dr. John Miller is Adjunct Instructor for the AFCLC's Introduction to Cross-Cultural Communication course. An Associate Professor on the Air Command & Staff College faculty until his retirement in 2016, he served as Course Director for the OLMP’s Culture and Regional Studies course from 2010-2016. Dr. Miller holds a Ph.D. in Communication Studies from Ohio University. He began his teaching career in 1981 as a Peace Corps Volunteer in up-country Liberia. Since then, Dr. Miller has taught in South Korea (Kyungsung University), Japan (Chubu University), and the USA (Defense Language Institute, Squadron Officer College, ACSC, and Ohio University). He also served as Associate Peace Corps Director in Ukraine from 1993-1996. Dr. Miller authored AFCLC’s Introduction to Cross-Cultural Communication course.
