COLONEL TERRI A. JONES

Colonel Terri A. Jones is the Commander of Air University’s Ira C. Eaker Center for Leadership Development, Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama. The Eaker Center provides leadership education, functionally aligned technical training, professional continuing education and civilian undergraduate education to Air Force and other Department of Defense personnel. The Center is comprised of the Profession of Arms Center of Excellence and six primary schools: Commanders' Professional Development School; Force Support Professional Development School; Air Force Chaplain Corps College; Air Force Civilian School; Air Force First Sergeant Academy; and the Defense Financial Management and Comptroller School. Each year, the Center educates more than 30,000 students in the classroom and via distance learning.

Colonel Jones has served in a variety of financial management and comptroller positions at the wing, center, major command and Air Staff levels and has deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. She has commanded at the squadron and group levels, and most recently served as director, Financial Management and Comptroller, Headquarters Air Education and Training Command, Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. Colonel Jones enlisted in the Air Force in 1987 and earned her commission as a distinguished graduate in 1993 through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps, Troy State University, Alabama.
