Description: Provides instruction in accordance with Holm Center academic curricula, syllabi, and other AFROTC-directed or emerging training in various settings on and off campus. Coaches, teaches, mentors, and prepares cadets to become commissioned officers in the USAF, possessing the warrior ethos, embodying the Air Force core values and prepared to lead Airmen. Executes leadership training, evaluation and classroom instruction culminating in Field Training sessions every summer at Maxwell AFB, AL. Orchestrates commissioning ceremonies for family members and distinguished visitors yearly. Responsible to AFROTC/CC for 24/7 safety, security and welfare of cadets and training facilities on civilian academic institution campus.

Eligibility: Captain [USAF/USSF] with at least 2 years’ time in grade (Lieutenants will not be accepted without an approved waiver). No Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA) failures within the past two years. Member must have scored an 80 or above on their last PFA and completed all components of the PFA within the past 12 months. Nominees should not have information in the Automated Military Justice Analysis and Management System that would raise concerns in placing the individual in a position of trust.
