On behalf of the Secretary of the Air Force, your Air War College will host its 70th annual National Security Forum (NSF) from 7-9 May 2024 at Air University. The NSF facilitates the free and open exchange of ideas and perspectives between our faculty, students, and approximately 100 invited civic leaders from diverse backgrounds across our nation. The forum covers a wide range of Air Force, national, and international security issues. The attached fact sheet provides additional information.

The purpose of the NSF is to foster stronger relationships between airmen, command teams, base, and local community leaders. To ensure we best meet that objective, I request your assistance in identifying potential candidates for the 2024 forum. Nominees should have significant influence in their fields or communities, hail from diverse backgrounds, and offer a variety of perspectives to provide valued contributions as future Air Force ambassadors. Ideally, nominees are community members with no prior military or DoD experience (to include Guard and Reserve), are not military dependents, and are not elected federal government officials or Department of Defense civilians. Those nominees who are selected to attend will subsequently receive an e-mail invitation in January.

Thank you for supporting the 2024 National Security Forum. Please submit your nominations at https://forms.office.com/r/mU8cY1v56P no later than 14 December 2023. The attached Nomination Form includes all the data requested at the nomination link. If you have questions, please contact my NSF team via e-mail at awc.nsf.workflow@us.af.mil. Thank you for your personal assistance in compiling an outstanding guest list for the 2024 NSF.
